VAZHOOR: Several devotees have sealed the 'bhandaram' (donation box) of Dharma Sastha temple in Vettikkadu, Vazhoor using cement. This was done as a protest against Travancore Devaswom Board. A note was pasted on the box stating that devotees should light a camphor as an offering. Pallikkathode police reached the temple and opened the bhandaram on the basis of the complaint of devaswom board officials. However, a note instructing devotees to light a camphor instead of donating money was put up near the temple.
