KOCHI: Model Reshmi Nair has revealed that she had received a phone call from the state intelligence asking whether she is going to visit Sabarimala. The man who made the phone call said that they are enquiring about this so that the police can ensure security for Reshmi’s house.

“I do not believe in any religion. When I had faith, I had visited Sabarimala after observing penance of 41 days. Devotion is not my concern. My objective is to ensure gender equality and right to freedom. Therefore, it does not matter whether I go there or not. The sensationalism of that issue will affect our politics negatively”, said Reshmi Nair.
