ERUMELI: A young woman has approached the police requesting security to visit Sabarimala temple. Bindu, a native of Kozhikode, has sought the help of Erumeli police. But, she returned to Pampa as the police denied security and hopes to meet the higher officials in Pampa. Two men also accompany her.

The temple will be closed at 10 pm at night on Monday. The devotees will not be allowed to enter the temple after 7 pm.

The temple will reopen on November 5 for ‘Chithira Aattavisesham’ celebrations. It is the birth anniversary of Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma, the former head of the Travancore royal family ad will be closed on November 6 at 10 in the night.

The pilgrimage season will start from November 16 at 5.30 pm. The temple will be closed on December 27 after the annual pilgrimage season.
