KOCHI: Ayyappa Dharma Sena president Rahul Easwar has revealed that the idea of Sena agitators in Sabarimala was to shed blood at Sannidhanam if any woman of menstruating age entered the temple. Twenty people were ready for this at Sannidhanam.
“Our idea was to slit our hands and flow blood at Sannidhanam. This was our plan B. Not only the government but we also need to have Plan B and Plan C. Once drops of blood or urine fall at Sannidhanam, the temple door will be closed for three days as per the rites. For that, there is no need for any one’s permission. At that time, no one will have the authority to say that the temple should be opened….The team was ready for considering this option,” Rahul told media persons in Kochi, adding that in coming days too this team will be at Sannidhanam with this plan.
Rahul Easwar said that the Sena would go ahead with its activities to protect tradition, even if the Supreme Court didn’t passed a favourable verdict.
Rahul Easwar added that the Sena would block at any cost women (aged 10-50 yrs) making any attempt to enter the temple.
