THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala police have announced that Rs 5000 fine will be imposed on those people who use artistic number plates. Number should be written in two lines on the number plates of light, medium and heavy vehicles. One line number plates are sufficient for motor taxis and taxi cars. Other vehicles can use single line number plates in the front. Number should be written clearly and it should not be faded. If the rules are violated, Rs 2000 fine will be imposed on owners of two-wheelers and three-wheelers, Rs 3000 fine for owners of light vehicles. Rs 4000 fine for owners of medium vehilcies and Rs 5000 fine for heavy vehicle owners.
