THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Sister Anupama of Kuravilangadu seminary was heckled and humiliated by a few ‘believers’ at the funeral of Father Kuriakose Kattuthara, who had died under mysterious circumstances in Jalandhar. Noted writer Saradakkutty said that this was an unfortunate incident and such mob lynching occur only in an uncivilized community. She also said that we should not forget that this incident happened in a progressive state like Kerala. The men who stood in front of the church were intolerate and had an attacking mentality and the government should be alert to avoid such issues, said Saradakkutty.

"The details of Fr.Kuriakose's death is unknown. We cannot say anything else other than those details included in postmortmen report. We need to ensure safety of the nuns. The government should be alert in this matter", Saradakkutty wrote in her Facebook post.
