THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has condemned the attack on swami Sandeepanandagiri’s ashram at Kundamankadavu. He said that the ashram was attacked by intolerant people and strict action will be taken against the attackers.

“We should face opposition with ideas, not with weapons. Those who are not capable of ideologically facing a conflict take weapon. Nobody will be allowed to take law in their hands. Swami Sandeepananda Giri reveals the politicization of spirituality and he is someone who spreads secularism. Those who are intolerant in this attacked him. We should stay together against this”, said the chief minister.

DGP Loknath Behra said that the case will vbe investigated by Thiruvananthapuram city police commissioner P Prakash. Prakash reached the spot and took statement from Sandeepananda Giri.
