THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Rahul Easwar, Ayappa Dharmasena state president and a member of the tantric family was arrested again for his controversial remark in connection with the entry of women in Sabarimala. He had revealed that blood would be spilled if women enter the divine abode. He made the controversial remark at a press meet held at the Ernakulam Press Club and following that the Ernakulam police arrested him Sunday morning.

He was arrested from his residence in the capital city. The police had earlier decided to arrest him after summoning him sending a notice but later changed the plan and steps were taken up immediately. Police arrested him based on the complaint that he had called for riots in Sabarimala.

A case has been registered against him under non-bailable offenses following a complaint lodged by Pramod, a native of the capital city. A case has been charged against him under section 117 and section 153 A and 118 E of IPC . In the press meet, Rahul had stated that they had plan B and C. He had later withdrawn from it after the remark sparked a controversy.
