THIRUVANNATHAPURAM: Kothamangalam St George has emerged overall champions in the State School Athletic meet for the tenth time, followed by Mar Baselios at 44 points and KHS Kumaramputhur with 42 points.

In the history of the sports meet, this for the first time that a team is becoming champions for the tenth time. However, this is their first victory since 2014.

Ernakulam with 192 points has till now 22 gold medals, 21 silver medals and 14 bronze medals.

Palakkad, which is in the second place has scored, 130 points. Kozhikode is in the third place with 77 points. Palakkad, also the last time runner up, has secured 130 points with 15 golds, 11 silvers and 12 bronzes is just behind Ernakulam.
