THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The forensic report states that vehicles of spiritual leader and religious teacher Sandeepananda Giri, was set on fire using petrol. The incident happened at 2 am on Saturday. The police had doubts earlier that the vehicles were set on fire using petrol.

The probe has been intensified after obtaining the forensic report. The police are investigating those people who bought petrol in cans from petrol pumps. The investigation is led by a special team led by deputy commissioner R Adithya. Meantime, protection has been given to Sandeepananda Giri. He was granted a gunman as well.
