NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court has quashed the high court verdict allowing admission of four self-financing colleges in Kerala. The Supreme Court has cancelled admission to 550 seats of Palakkad P K Das, Warkala SRC, Wayanad DM and Thodupuzha Al-Azhar colleges. The Supreme Court announced the verdict while considering an appeal filed by Medical Council of India.
The high court had granted admission to these colleges in an earlier verdict. The MCI had cancelled the recognition of these colleges after finding that they failed to comply within the guidelines on faculty and infrastructural facilities.
