THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated Sardar Vallabhai Patel's 'Statue of Unity' on the occassion of his 143rd birth anniversary on Wednesday. However, several criticisms have come against the construction of this statue. V T Balram MLA has come forward mocking prime minister Narendra Modi over this issue.

"What if Rs 3000 crores were to be spent, when one could get a personal realisation of the stature of an RSS guy in front of a freedom fighter!", wrote V T Balram in his Facebook post.
