PATHANAMTHITTA: When all preparations are going on in Sabarimala for opening the temple on the occasion of Chithira Aattam, the police have braced up the security arrangements at Pamba and Sannidhanam.

But, many Sangh Parivar organisations have hoped into the scene, openly declaring that they are ready to take up any challenge thrown by young women who want to break age-old tradition to enter the temple

RSS has already appointed senior Sangh Pracharaks for this.

The main aim of the RSS is to exercise all its power to build a strong resistance to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s strong determination to implement the Supreme Court order and prevent Sangh Parivar men from camping at Sannidhanam.

The RSS plans to facilitate a smooth passage for the cadres with the experience of working in volatile districts like Kasargod, Kannur and Kozhikode to Sannidhanam on November 5 (Attam Chitthira ).

Vatsan Thillankeri, the RSS leader from Kannur district, is in charge of building the ‘wall of protest’. BJP State general secretary K Surendran will also be at Sannidhanam to coordinate protest programmes.

Aranmula strike leader Krishnan Kutty, Hindu Aikya Vedi State chief K P Sasikala and Vanavasi leader Acharya Kunjon will lead the agitation. Once young women reach Sabarimala, thousands of Malikappurams led by Sasikala wish to block their path.

When Sabarimala opened for Thulam puja, the protest was not under the aegis of the RSS but strikes henceforth will be within its organisational frame work, according to RSS think tanks.
