Sunny Leone will soon don a role in a Malayalam film. She made this public through her social media pages. The film will be directed by Santosh Nair, the maker of 'Money Ratnam'. That film, released in 2014, had featured Fahadh Faasil in the lead.

"Hey everyone!! I am so excited to announce my debut in a Malayalam film!! Releasing soon. The movie will be produced by Jayalal Menon under the banner Backwater Studios and will be directed by Santosh Nair," Sunny Leone wrote on social media. Backwater Studios and Fairytale production are jointly producing the film. One World Entertainments will distribute the film. Sunny recently debuted in South Indian cinema with a multilingual period epic titled 'Veeramadevi'," Sunny wrote on the social media.

Santosh’s next film is 'Sachin'; Dhyan Sreenivasan and Aju Varghese are doing main roles in the film.
