KOCHI: BJP State spokesperson B Gopalakrishnan was arrested on Thursday and released on bail later for allegedly condemning and threatening I G Manoj Abraham. It was Kochi Central Police who had filed a case against Gopalakrishnan.

Gopalakrishnan allegedly condemned the IG during the BJP-led march to Ernakulam Range IG office over Sabarimala women’s entry issue. He made the controversial speech after inaugurating the march.

Police have filed a case against 200 persons including BJP leaders for unlawful assembly and creating traffic block.
