THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kadakampally Surendran has come forward against BJP for politicizing Panthalam native Sivadasan's death. "Sivadasan had gone to Sabarimala on 18th October, then how can he get killed on 17th? He had called his home on 19th. BJP is shocking everyone with their statements. You can't buy sincerity and and shame in the market. Even the BJP president, who is an advocate is telling lies", said Kadakampally Surendran.

The BJP alleged that Sivadasan, 60, had died during police action against devotees last month after the landmark verdict by the Supreme Court allowing women entry into the shrine.

But police said it was an accident. They said Sivadasan's body was recovered from a forest area on Thursday.
