KOTTAYAM: K. V. Viswanathan, owner of Kunnathukalathil group who was arrested for cheating investors, has been found dead falling from a hospital building.

68-year-old Viswanathan was found to have jumped from the fourth floor of a private hospital in Kottayam where he has been under treatment. He jumped from the hospital building at around 8.30 am on Saturday. The police have reached the spot and started the probe.

The investors had staged severe protests against him. Prima facie, a case of swindling worth about Rs 35 crore exists. Presently, the case is investigated by the Crime Branch.
