THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister K T Jaleel had landed in a nepotism row. Youth League state general secretary P K Firoz raised the nepotism allegations against Minister KT Jaleel. The youth league has also presented some evidences in connection with the appointment of Jaleel’s cousin brother in State Minority Development Finance Corporation. The allegations were raised against the appointment of KT Adeeb as general manager oof minority development Finance Corporation by providing relaxation to the requirements.

Youth League state general secretary PK Firoz and vice president Najeeb Kanthapuram said that Adeeb was appointed in a government organization despite being a private bank employee.

However, Jaleel has come forward against the allegations. He said that there is no issue with Adeeb’s appointment as the appointment was made as per the norms. “Adeeb was appointed, as there were no other eligible candidates and he was appointed because he was suitable for the position”, said Jaleel.
