THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Devaswom board Minister Kadakampally Surendran has said he was ready for talks with NSS and other organisations in connection with the entry of young women in Sabarimala.
Kadakampally has made this offer in the wake of NSS secretary Sukumaran criticising the government over attack on NSS office and reservations in Devaswom board appointments.
“In Sabarimala issue, the government is not adamant but some are trying to fish in troubled waters. The attack on the Melamcode NSS office, in which the BJP is having influence, was aimed at destroy the peaceful atmosphere,” he said.
Meanwhile, the investigation team has said that the CCTV visuals from nearby buildings are being examined to find out the real culprits. No one has been arrested yet in connection with the office attack.
