PATHANAMTHITTA: Pathanamthitta district sessions court has denied the bail plea of five accused in connection with the attacks at Sabarimala over women entry. The accused were involved in attacking the government officials and police officers at Sabarimala. The court observed that if the accused get bail, it may result in anarchy. The court also observed that if bail was granted to them, it will send a wrong message to the society. The court has denied the bail of Sailesh, Anand, Ashwin, Abhilash and Kiran, who were involved in attacking media personnel and destroying 10 KSRTC bus and 13 police vehicles.

Pathanamthitta sessions court judge John K Illikkadan said that the accused were trying to sabotage the supreme court verdict.
