PATHANAMTHITTA: Sabarimala pilgrim Sivadasan’s wife Lalitha has said that she didn’t believe that her husband died in some accident.
“Sivadasan who had gone to Sabarimala called me the next day (October 19). The dispute with the neighbours had been resolved long before. I don’t think that he died due to some accident,” Lalitha said.
Sivadasan’s son Sharat has made serious allegations against the police. “Though we had given a missing complaint to the police on October 22, they had not accepted it,” he said, demanding a comprehensive investigation into his father’s death.
The post-mortem had pointed out bleeding from thigh bone as the cause of death. “Sivadasan’s thigh bone had broken into two. This might have caused due to falling from height or some accident. The bleeding that occurred after this might have resulted in his death,” the doctors opined in the post-mortem report.
Sivadasan’s body was found from a gorge near Laha in Pathanamthitta.
