KOCHI: Actor Devan said that Pinarayi Vijayan is the best Chief Minister Kerala has ever seen. Devan praised Pinarayi in an interview given to Keralakaumudi. "Pinarayi Vijayan is doing a lot of good things in Kerala. However, media does not bring them into people's attention. The government is highly efficient except in the police issue, there is no doubt that Pinarayi Vijayan is the best chief minister Kerala has ever seen", said Devan.

Devan has raised harsh criticism against the media. "Media involvement is essential and they have freedom in Kerala. I don't find anything wrong with Pinarayi's attitude towards the media", said Devan.

Devan also clarified that he worships Narendra Modi very much. "Modi is not a cruel person. He is a great leader. Media portray him as cruel. I have asked many journalists about the negatives of Modi. No one has given a clear answer for that. The problems in this country are being created by other Hindu groups and organizations", said Devan.
