THRISSUR: KPCC vice president V D Satheesan MLA has made an allude criticism towards the Congress stand on the Sabarimala issue. "Standing with the emotions of a mob is not the culture of Congress. Congress should take a strong stand in the Sabarimala issue. Congress is a secular-liberal-national party. The leaders and activists should be aware of this", said Satheesan.

He also said that the CPM stand on the issue is hypocritical. He alleged that CPM is paving the way for Sangh Parivar.

Earlier, V T Balram MLA had also come forward against the Congress stand on the Sabarimala women entry. Balram had said that Rahul Gandhi is the Congress leader, not Rahul Easwar. However, KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran had criticized the remarks of Balram saying that Balram's remarks were not respectful. Kadannappally also said that an explanation will be sought from Balram.

AICC had also taken a stand supporting the women entry earlier.
