THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Transport minister A K Saseendran has informed that necessary transportation services will be arranged so that devotees can visit the temple for Chithira Aatta visesham. "All necessary arrangements have been made. Buses and staff have been arranged. People are protesting without understanding much details", said the minister. The response came as the BJP activists are staging protests across the state against the KSRTC for not allowing services between Erumeli and Pampa.
Meantime, services began between Nilakkal and Pampa. Buses went through Nilakkal gopuram at 11:10 am. There are 22 KSRTC buses servicing to Pampa. However, the police have clarified that devotees will be allowed to enter Sannidhanam only after strict checking. BJP leaders, who have reached in private vehicles are also going to Pampa in KSRTC buses.
Officials have informed that private vehicles will not be allowed to go to Pampa from Nilakkal and they have clarified that KSRTC chain services will begin between Nilakkal and Pampa. However, devotees staged a protest when the services did not begin in the morning. Devotees were allowed to walk to Pampa follwoing this. BJP started a state-wide protest soon after this.
