KOCHI: The high court has sought judicial action against the policemen who were involved in the attacks at Sabarimala. The court asked whether media is banned at Sabarimala, and the court also directed the government not to block the journalists or devotees.
The high court has also clarified that the government does not have the right to involve in the daily affairs at Sabarimala.
"The government should consider only the law and order at Sabarimala. They do not have the authority to involve in the daily matters of Sabarimala. They cannot order the devasom board as well", said the court.
The high court also said that strict action should be taken against the police officers who damaged vehicles at Sabarimala. Strict action should be taken against the policemen as well, said the court.
However, government informed the court that neither the media nor the devotees are banned at Sabarimala. The government also said that this was DGP has already clarified this.
