PAMBA: A 25-year-old woman on Monday evening reached Pamba with the intention to climb Sabarimala to have a darshan of deity Ayyappa. Cherthala native Anju, his husband and two children approached Pamba police station, seeking police protection while they entered Sabarimala.

Meanwhile, the police said that they were examining the background of the woman to find out whether she is a true believer or just an activist. Top officers are discussing on whether to allow her entry or not.
