NILAKKAL: A dispute has occurred at Nilakkal between several BJP leaders, who reached there demanding to go to Pampa in private vehicles and the police. At present, only KSRTC buses are being allowed to go to Pampa from Nilakkal. However, BJP leaders A N Radharishnan, P K Krishnadas and P K Sasikala claimed that 127 private vehicles were allowed to enter Pampa. They demanded that their private vehicles should also be allowed to go to Pampa.

The police said that they cannot allow their private vehicles to go to Pampa. However, they did not agree to this. The police did not agree to their demands though they said that they are public workers and famous people. They went to Pampa in a KSRTC bus. BJP leader A N Radhakrishnan alleged that the police have denied devotees’ right to travel. “The police should clarify why they are not allowing private vehicles to go to Pampa. Why are they allowing some VIPs only? If that’s the case, we should also be allowed”, said A N Radhakrishnan.
