PATHANAMTHITTA: The police have charged a case against 200 people for blocking 52-years old Lalitha Ravi, native of Thrissur who reached Sabarimala. The case was charged on the basis of the complaint filed by Lalitha. The police have also informed that they are trying to find them by using the surveillance camera footages.

Some devotees claimed that Lalitha who reached Sannidhanam was below fifty years old and blocked her. She also did not have 'Irumudi Kettu' with her. The protesters claimed that she is fifty-two years old and did not back down from their protest. The woman who felt physical discomfort was shifted to the hospital at Sannidhanam. The protesters attacked some journalists who tried to take photographs during the incident.

The police reached the spot and cheked the identity proof of the women and allowed them to perform darshan. They performed darshan under police protection. Since they did not have an 'Irumudi Kettu', they were brought through another path. Lalitha clarified that she reached Sannidhanam for her grandson's 'choroonu' (first eating ceremony). She also told that she is 52-years old and that she had to face this protest though her Aadhar card was checked at Pampa and Nadappanthal.

23-year-old Mridul, reisdent of Kandangeth house in Thrissur was injured in the clash. Amrita TV cameraman Biju and Asianet reporters were also attacked by the protesters. Several people have raised an allegation that the police did not take an action immediately.
