THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Devaswom board president A Padmakumar clarified that a senior advocate will be appointed while considering the review plea in the Sabarimala issue in the Supreme Court. The review pleas will be considered on November 13. Devaswom board has also decided to submit a report in connection with the women entry verdict.
Meantime, devaswom board member Shankar Das said that the incident when he stood on the eighteen steps without an 'Irumudikkettu' is not a violation of rituals. However, a plea has been filed in the High Court seeking the removal of Shankar Das. The plea was filed by former Devaswom Board president Prayar Gopalakrishnan and BJP general secretary K Surendran. The plea alleges that Sankar Das's action is violation of his ceremonial oath.
