SABARIMALA: State Police Chief Lokanth Behera has reportedly posed a serious question to Thrissur Range IG M R Ajith Kumar- Why didn’t you come out of your room when Sangh Parivar took control of 18 steps to Sabarimala Sannidhanam, in violation of tradition?

The DGP asked for the IG’s explanation on Thursday in connection with the recent agitations over women’s entry in Sabarimala.

When hundreds of protesters blocked police stations and 18 steps, IG stayed back from this mayhem after handing over the controlling responsibility to SPs.

Though Ajith Kumar watched the protest from Verandha behind his room, he didn’t come out, raising hackles of other high-rank police officers, who were at Sannidhanam.
