k-surendran

CHENGANNUR: It has been informed that devaswom commissioner P Vasu had directed to kick out BJP state general secretary K Surendran from Sannidhanam. Surendran had reached Sannidhanam with the traditional ‘irumudikkettu’. The police were unaware of Surendran’s visit. K Vasu instructed to kick politicians and non-believers from Sannidhanam when visuals of Surendran came out.

Devaswom manager instructed Sopanam special officer to take immediate action. However, special officer said that Surendran is a devotee and he cannot be forced to leave from Sannidhanam. Devaswom board withdrew from their stand since a legal action is likely. Three coupons are being distributed for daily pooja on each day of temple opening. Surendran had booked one coupon by paying Rs 50,000. Special officer said that they cannot kick him out due to this.

K Surendran told ‘Kerala Kaumudi’ Flash that he booked the ticket as he had prior knowledge that he will be blocked at Sannidhanam. He also told that he reached Sannidhanam through the traditional forest path as the police were preparing to arrest him from Pampa even though he had the coupon.
