KASARGOD: Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani has come forward with harsh criticism against RSS and BJP in connection with Sabarimala issue. Jignesh said that we are witnessing the stupidity of RSS and BJP. Jignesh was speaking at the ‘padayatra’ organized by a youth organization called ‘Nalathe Lokam Nammudeth’ (Tomorrow’s World is Ours) in Kasarogde.“It is not right to block women at Sabarimala as the Supreme Court verdict has clearly clarified that women of all ages can enter the temple. Prime Minister says that he has one a lot for the development of women, if so, why is he keeping silence in the Sabarimala issue? BJP says that banning triple talaq is essential for the new age. Then, they should obey the court verdict”, said Jignesh.‘Nalathe Lokam Nammudeth’ has organized the event to protect our democracy and to conserve our nature. The padayatra (foot journey) will end on December 20 at Thiruvananthapuram.
