THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Sreedharan Pillai has clarified that he is firm in what he has said about the temple closing at Sabarimala. He added that he had recieved hundreds of phone calls that day and he does not remember whether tantri called him. "If tantri says that he had not called me, then I respect it. I do not fear of an arrest", said Pillai.
A case under non-bailable charges was filed against BJP state president PS Sreedharan Pillai after he was caught on video telling party workers that last month’s agitation at the Sabarimala temple over the entry of women of all ages was “almost planned” by the BJP. He jad said that the tantri called him to discuss whether the temple should be closed if rituals are violated.
