KOCHI: Kerala high court has filed suo motu case against protestors for agitating in Sabarimala when temple opened for a day during Chithira Attam.

The Devaswom bench of the high court filed the case based on the report submitted by Sabarimala Special Commissioner.
The court also asked the Devaswom board to file a report on the matter within seven days.

Special Commissioner M Manoj said in the report that the tactful approach of the police with extreme patience and restrain avoided any untoward incident in Sabarimala.

In the report, it is also mentioned that RSS leader Valsan Thillankeri and Devaswom Board member Shankar Das violated rituals.
