THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Two more accused involved in the murder of Neyyattinkara native Sanal Kumar have surrendered on Tuesday. Binu, friend of prime accused DySP Harikumar and driver Rameshan had gone underground after the incident. Harikumar was also hiding with them.

Meantime, Rural SP Ashok Kumar has clarified that Neyyattinkara murder case accused and former Neyyattinkara DySP Harikumar died on Monday night.
“Prima facie, it is case of suicide. Other details can be said only after more examinations are conducted,” he said.
Harikumar reached his house at Kallambalam as the Crime Branch was strongly continuing investigation against him under the supervision of Crime Branch IG. The body was spotted by the police at around 10:30 am.
The court was supposed to consider his bail plea on Tuesday.
Police had got the information that the accused and his friend Binu reached the latter’s house near the crime spot at Kodangavila a few days ago.
Harikumar left the car, he used to go underground in other states, there and left in an ambassador car.
The news of the death came when the Crime Branch was searching for Harikumar.
On Tuesday, Triparappu Tourist home owner Ratheesh and the son of Binu (second accused in Sanal murder case) were arrested. Following the news of death, police team comprising Crime Branch S P Antony, Rural SP Ashok Kumar and Attingal DySP Anil Kumar arrived at Harikumar’s house.
The body will be sent for post-mortem after collection of evidence and inquest report is prepared.
