KOCHI: Is this the Achhe din announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, criticised Bhumata brigade leader Tripti Desai. "It is the responsibility of Kerala to provide me security and they would be responsible if I am attacked."
Desai along with her six-member team was not able to come out of the airport following protests by Ayyappa devotees.
"Modi had announced that Achhe din will be given to women if assumed power. His party activists are staging protests against me outside the airport. These people are not devotees, they are goons. I have not requested the state government and the police to provide me VIP security. Instead asked security to visit Sabarimala. I obtained threat messages that I would be attacked if I set foot on Kerala soil. Some threatened to finish me off. In this situation, the state would be responsible if I am attacked," she added.
