PAMBA: Devaswom board president A Padmakumar has said only after further discussions will Devaswom board take decision on whether to approach the Supreme court, seeking time to implement the Supreme Court order over women’s entry in Sabarimala.
“Devaswom can’t shy away from implementing the Supreme Court order but the board will tell the court what it has to say. However, there is some grey area in legal facts,” Padmakumar said after the review meeting of the Devaswom board.
Meanwhile, Padmakumar said that it was better that Bhumatha Brigade leade Triputi Desai returned to her state. “Trupti Desai is an activist and the government should make its stand clear on her and her team who are adamant on visiting Sabarimala,” he said.
