PATHANAMTHITTA: Hartal is being observed today (Saturday) in the State in protest against the arrest of Hindu Aikyavedi State President K P Sasikala.

The 6am-6pm hartal has been called by Sabarimala Karma Samithy

Sasikala who was on her way to Sabarimala for darshan was blocked by the police at Marakoottam yesterday. Though the police asked her to return, she was not ready for it. The police arrested her after blocking her for about five hours.
