NILAKKAL: Ayyappa Dharma Sena president Rahul Easwar has returned from Nilakkal following the warning that Sangh Parivar activists and other leaders at Sabarimala and nearby areas will be taken in preventive custody. He clarified that he will come again with the devotees after two days.

The police had arrested K P Sasiakala on Saturday morning from Marakkoottam. Sabarimala Karma Samithi activist Bhargava Ram was also arrested on Friday, but he was later released. There were reports that more leaders will be arrested. Rahul Easwar returned from Nilakkal following this.

Rahul was earlier arrested for blocking devotees when the temple was opened for monthly poojas of Thulam. He was again arrested for revealing that his plan was to shed blood at Sannidhanam if women enter the temple. Rahul returned after signing at the police station. He had said that he will try maximum to prevent women from entering Sabarimala.
