KOZHIKODE: Julius Nikhithas, son of CPM Kozhikode district secretary P Mohanan master and his journalist-wife Saniyo Manomi were attacked by hartal supporters at 11 am on Saturday at Ambalakkulangara in Kakkattu near Kuttiyadi. Both of them were attacked while they were travelling to a friend's house.

Their bike was stopped and they were attacked by a group of eight people. Julius's nose was broken in the attack and Saniya was also attacked. Both of them were admitted to a hospital in Kuttiyadi and the doctors have directed to shift them to Kozhikode medical college.
