KOZHIKODE: BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai has come forward against the arrest of protesters at Sannidhanam. Sreedharan Pillai said that BJP has sought a judicial inquest against these arrests. "People have a right to violate section 144, if they violate 144, then a petty case should be charged", said Pillai while talking to reporters in Kozhikode.
"BJP will consider filing a case against the police officers. 144 is not essential at Sabarimala, but when several devotees come with a 'guruswami', can they split as several groups because of 144? IPS officers are becoming slaves of politicians. Why did Yatish Chandra stop Sasikala who went to Sabarimala for her grandchildren's 'choroonu'? Devotees are not getting a justice from the police. Human rights are being violated in Kerala. The arrested protesters are not getting justic even from megistrates. K Surendran went to jail bacause of this", said Pillai
