THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has come forward saying that the protests at Sannidhanam are not part of belief and the action taken by police is standard procedure.
"Sangh Parivar is trying to implement some agendas at Sabarimala. Those who say that they stand for protecting the rituals are actually violating the rituals themselves and several of these so-called devotees are RSS leaders", said Pinarayi Vijayan.
"The agenda of BJP and RSS is clear. It is unfortunate that the Congress is also standing with RSS. Everyone has the right to oppose in a democratict country. The police had taken the action when the protests were out of control. BJP is bringing more members to Sabarimala, so that an issue can be created. All of us have seen the circular issued by BJP. They are not devotees, they are just politicizing the issue", he added.
