THIUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has taken to Facebook to slam Amit Shah for his comment against the government and the chief minister over Sabarimala issue.
Pinarayi Vijayan wrote on his Facebook page and Twitter handle that Amit Shah’s comments created misunderstandings in the minds of people. “Pilgrimage is happening in Sabarimala without any problems. Pilgrims including women and children are not going through any hassle. It is not devotees but Sangh Parivar members who are facing problems in Sabarimala,” he says, adding that the answer for Amit Shah is there in the statements of Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Earlier, Amit Shah had alleged that police were treating Ayyappa devotees like Soviet prisoners. Police were behaving with small girls, mothers and old women in an inhumane manner. The BJP is with believers and the manner in which Pinarayi Vijayan is handling the sensitive issue is disgusting.
