NILAKKAL: Ayyappa Dharma Sena activist Rahul Easwar was detained by the police on Saturday noon. Rahul was on his way to Sabraimala darshan with Irumudi when he was detained by the police at Nilakkal.

“I have no restriction on going to Sabarimala for darshan but the police now say that I can’t go beyond Pamba and if I dare to do so I will be kept in preventive custody,” Rahul told media persons.

Later, police allowed him to go on condition that he should not go to Sabarimala. While returning home, Rahul Easwar said police was indulging in serious violation of human rights and he would move the high court against it.
