SABARIMALA: Police are reportedly making moves to file cases against Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan and others for taking part in nama japa at Sannidhanam the other day.

However, the Pathanamthitta collector had clarified that those who perform Namajapa would not be arrested but the police are thinking otherwise.

On Tuesday, two groups had performed nama japa simultaneously. In the group that sat near north gate, there were V Muraleedharan MP, BJP Pathanamthitta district president Asokan Kulanada and others.

On Wednesday also two groups were there; in the north side, there were Pon Radhakrishnan and BJP State general secretary A N Radhakrishnan.

Meanwhile, police have filed cases against 100 persons for taking part in nama japa on Thursday night. Out of that police have identified about six persons.
