KOLLAM: BJP state general secretary K Surendran has alleged that Pinarayi government is trying to murder him while he is in police custody. 'I have to go to Kozhikode for warrant on November 30. I have backpain and the police have brought me here. Instructions are being given to the police from Thiruvananthapuram. They are trying to create issues intentionally.

K Surendran was brought to Kottarakka sub jail on Tuesday at 12 pm. BJP activists had crowded in front of the jail. The police had plans to bring him secretly on Monday night. However, the plan got dropped and he was shifted to Poojappura at 4:30 pm. Surendran is travelling with irumudikkettu.
