KOCHI: BJP state president P S Sreedharan Pillai clarified that BJP will not call off protests over Sabarimala issue. "The government should withdraw section 144 at Sabarimala. People like P C George MLA have decided to work with BJP. This shows the popularity of BJP stand in the issue. The government is locking up people like K Surendran in fake cases. BJP members will not bend their knees before the government. Cases against Surendran should be withdrawn. He should be released immediately. BJP has taken a firm stand in this issue", said Pillai.
There were reports that BJP will call off protests over Sabarimala issue. Pillai has denied such allegations and informed that he will file a report on the human rights violations against the BJP leaders.
