THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP has decided to intensify the protests over Sabarimala issue. They are staging the protests seeking to withdraw the cases against K Surendran and to withdraw section 144 at Sabarimala. BJP leader A N Radhakrishnan will observe fasting from December 3rd in front of the secretariat. BJP state secretary P S Sreedharan Pillai clarified that they will perform fasting for 15 days.
Pillai was talking to the media after their leadership meet.
"BJP has not staged a protests in Sannidhanam and Sabarimala. The protests were staged by Sabarimala Karma Samiti. No BJP worker has created a problem at Sabarimala.
Fake cases are imposed on Surendran. He has been arrested and the police have violated human rights with his arrest. Justice has been denied for BJP and RSS. The chief minister view us as secondary citizens. This cannot be accepted. We have decided to cooperate with P C George only in the assembly. Pinarayi Vijayan had told that if BJP is staging a protest against the government, then they should stage it in front of the secretariat. However, you don't have to connect the change in venue with the chief minister's statement", said Pillai.
