SANNIDHANAM: Devaswom board president A Padmakumar has said there will be good news from Sabarimala in the coming days and the board was ready for any compromise there.

“Don’t see leniency shown by us as our weakness. We are doing all this for the sake of Sabarimala. Today itself, we shall arrive at a clear decision on removing barricades from Sabarimala. The campaign going on against depositing money in the temple hundis is aimed at promoting certain new temples. This will affect the salaries of hundreds of Devaswom board employees,” he told media persons at Sannidhanam.

Much earlier itself, the board had apprised the Supreme Court of its stand on women’s entry in Sabarimala. “It is not a question of whether women will enter Sabarimala or not. What matters is the tranquillity in Sabarimala,” he added.
