KOLLAM: Rakhi Krishna, a student of Kollam Fathima College who committed suicide after being allegedly caught for copying during an exam, took her last journey on Thursday.

The body was brought to her house at Koottikkada in Kollam on Thursday night after post-mortem in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. A huge crowd of college students, locals and social activists were visible on the premise of her house. Father Radhakrishnan, mother Sreejathi and brother Rahul Krishna could not control their tears.

Her classmates and friends sobbed and whimpered at the great loss they had to face most unexpectedly. By 3:45 in the evening the body was taken out and laid to rest at the back yard of her family house.

Meanwhile, Kollam East CI has said the letters written on Chrudar top of will be examined. They are English letters.

However, students in the exam hall said the writing had nothing to do with the exam.
